We take our Caregiver Selection Process very seriously...

As owners of Willamette Valley Caregivers, it is important for us to get to know each of our Clients and Caregivers on the Registry to ensure we make the best placements possible.

Our caregivers average 4+ years of senior care experience and we have a very low turnover rate… meaning, once caregivers are matched with a client, they stay for the duration that care is needed.

We only recruit for the BEST, and have some of the most stringent Job Requirements in the area. Just take a look at the Job Requirements listed on one of our Job Postings vs. Our Competitors in the area.

All of the Care providers on our registry carry their own professional liability insurance and undergo a thorough background assessment and screening process before being added to our registry. This includes…

Social security # Trace & Verification

Federal and State Criminal Background Checks

National Sex Offender Registry Check

OIG Exclusion List Check

Driving Record Review

License/Credential verification

Skills Screening

Drug Screening

Verification of CPR training

Verification of 2+ years Caregiving Experience and Former Supervisor/Client References

As you can imagine, our strict requirements limit the number of qualified caregivers added to our registry each month. This is just fine by us…. as we consider ourselves a “boutique” registry. We keep our client base small to ensure high quality care and attention. To foster the best possible outcomes in the home setting, we focus on caregiver experience and keeping the caregivers that come into the home consistent and as few as possible. This gives caregivers, clients and family members the opportunity to build trust and foster a healthy bond.

Call us today at 503-874-4199 to arrange to meet some of our highly experienced and screened Caregivers!
