Jodi Eich

Co-Owner

Hi there! My name is Jodi and I am so excited for this opportunity to share our Home Care Registry model with you all!  My 20+ years of HealthCare experience (did I just age myself?) includes Executive Leadership roles in Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and most recently in Home Health & In-Home Care Agencies. My entire professional career has been dedicated to Senior Care and supporting the elderly population.

My journey in Healthcare officially started though working as a CNA while also attending Oregon State University. Having had that experience, I personally understand how challenging this work can be, so it's extremely important to me to ensure the caregivers on our Registry are being valued and compensated accordingly!

I also love that we are able to be a resource to help keep our clients at home for as long as possible! Did you know that 9 out of 10 Seniors want to stay at home for as long as possible? With our Registry model being the most reasonable Home Care option in the area - we are helping Seniors age the way they want - At Home, while also bringing peace of mind to families.  James and I are passionate about advocating for elders and matching those in need with QUALITY care professionals.

I reside in Silverton, and am a very proud wife, and mother to an 10 year old girl, 17 year old boy, and 4 year old golden retriever! In addition to all their various activities, we enjoy traveling, camping, fishing, and boating.

James Welch

Co-Owner

Hello, my name is James, and I am the “other” Co-Owner of Willamette Valley Caregivers. I am a native Oregonian born in Salem. I attended and graduated from both North Salem High School and Oregon State University. While in college I took a position as a caregiver at a MR/DD group home and started to sway my career path towards taking care of people. In 2005, I began working in the Home Care Industry as a Staffing Coordinator/ Human Resources. In 2011, I started an In-Home Care Division for a local Home Health Agency, and served as Administrator for 9 years, as well as on-call staffing coordinator (ask my wife about that).

Eventually, the calling of being an owner and having more direct control over the quality of the caregivers and care provided to our clients, became too strong to ignore- and Willamette Valley Caregivers was formed. For me- Willamette Valley Caregivers is: Care Simplified. Jodi and I care deeply about all of the caregivers going into the client's homes and want the best possible scenario for all involved.  We hope you will let us discuss the options available here at WVC, but we also recognize that we may not be the best fit for everyone. If that's the case - allow us to put our 40 years of combined experience to work to connect you with the right resources!

To me, my biggest accomplishments in life are my marriage and creating three amazing humans: 18,13, and 9.  And starting this Registry... In my spare time I enjoy dirt bikes, softball, wrestling and armchair discussing everything there is to discuss.

TESTIMONIALS

"We highly recommend Willamette Valley Caregivers to anyone looking for a caregiver. The owners are very active in the business and were incredibly responsive to all of our needs and communications. Looking for someone to care for a loved one can be a very stressful experience; having been in the business for many years, James and Jodi made it an easy experience. We will be using them again if ever the need arises."

"Our caregiver ALWAYS goes above and beyond, never sits still! Not only does she take excellent care of my wife, our home has never been so clean!"

"Thank you Jodi & James, and thanks to your excellent caregiver who helped us through the passing of my husband. My husband was a wonderful man who deserved the best, and I believe he got it. It was at the end, but perhaps that is the most important, for patient and family. We appreciate everything that was done for my husband and for the family."
